A native of the Northwest, Lynette earned her Bachelor’s degree at Linfield School of nursing in Portland, Oregon. She began her nursing career as an officer in the United States Air Force, working as a labor and delivery nurse. After completing four years of active duty military service, she worked the next four years in civilian hospitals. She then attended the University of California San Francisco and received a dual Master’s degree as a Certified Nurse Midwife and Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner. She recently earned her PhD in Health Psychology from Walden University.

Prior to moving to Albany Ga, Lynette Practiced in California, Alabama, and Georgia. She spent 4 years in Atlanta working as practitioner. Lynette joined Women’s Health Practitioners in 2005. Since graduating in 2001, she has delivered over 2000 babies and climbing. During the time Lynette joined Women’s Health Professionals, she has published an article in the Journal of Social, Behavioral, and Health Sciences, as well as publishing her dissertation in ProQuest. She plans to publish a journal article describing the results of her dissertation.

Lynette is married to John Talley, and has one stepson, Brantley. The Talley family attend and are members of St. Patrick’s Episcopal church. Lynette loves animals, and currently has four indoor cats, and one indoor dog. She has one horse, and loves spending her free time horseback riding with friends. She also enjoys cooking, fine wine, traveling, and driving the Talley race car with her husband at track events.
