At Women’s Health Professional,  we have a collaborative practice, meaning that the midwife and physicians share the same patients and work side by side in providing care. The advantage of using a practice that incorporates a midwife is that she, in general, is able to give more time and education at each visit.  For example, during the course of a pregnancy, a patient may approach the subject of breast-feeding or want to talk more in-depth about what can be expected during delivery. Our midwife, Lynette Talley, is able to provide a very personal touch to the patients’ prenatal care.
